Alghero: itineraries and trips

In Alghero there are many paths and attractions for people who love nature. 

The area around the city shows beautiful cliffs, located mainly in Capo Caccia. Alghero  is also known for its numerous caves, that are perfect  for diving enthusiasts, who can admire the variety of marine fauna, especially groupers and lobsters.

If you like walking, we suggest "San Giovanni" walk, starting from the Lido up to the port of the city. Here you can take the ferry to the “Grotte di Nettuno” that are also reachable by land from the Capo Caccia place, through the long staircase called “Escala del Cabirol” (656 steps).

For those who love archeology, we recommend visiting the ancient nuragic area of Palmavera, a few km from Alghero.
